As recently announced, we will be entering the market with a new brand name from 2023.
1. Why
We want to establish a clear identifier for handmade, sustainable and high-quality wooden furniture handles.
And for that we need a brand, so it is OAK GRIP developed.
2. The name
The name is easy to explain and yet it has occupied us for a long time.
In the end, however, we agreed: EKENGRIEP - roughly translated in Low German, it means oak handle.
3. What changes for our customers
The quality remains, as does the regionally sourced wood.
What is changing is that in the future we will be an almost pure furniture handle production company.
Another change takes place on the products: Each handle gets a small engraving with our brand name on the inside.
So that everyone who has one of our furniture handles knows what they have - namely an EKENGRIEP. :)
